What started out as a modest shop in braided rugs and mats, has now become a leading name in interior design and implementation. Early in the twentieth century, in the heyday of art deco, De Klerk was known as The Netherlands' largest department store for interiors and furniture. The family-owned company developed beyond that to focus on interiors for custom-built yachts. In 1978 the first Feadship was equipped with an interior by De Klerk Binnenbouw (DKB). Since then, based on solid craftsmanship, DKB has produced one masterpiece after another. And clever engineering always allows easy access to the yacht's vital technology.
Since 2015 De Klerk Binnenbouw has been a part of Group Koninklijke De Vries Scheepsbouw.
