Located in an excellent position on the river Merwede, the Slob yard has been a part of Group Koninklijke De Vries Scheepsbouw since 1999. Working in close cooperation with De Voogt Naval Architects and the other De Vries Group companies, it is a one-stop-shop for building Feadship steel hulls and complex integrated aluminium deckhouses of the highest quality. In addition, the skilled Slob craftsmen build vessels for the seagoing, inland shipping, offshore and dredging sectors.
Slob has its own pre-engineering and fabrication, as well as section-assembly shops, plasma steel cutting, outfitting departments, a machine shop and covered slipways for vessels up to 130 metres in length.
