About Monara II

Just like sistership Din-Dina III, Monara II was designed by C.J.W. (Johan) de Vries (1938-2002), technical director of the shipyard in Aalsmeer. After intensive use for more than 45 years, the yacht was sold and the new owner wanted the 25.80-metre yacht – then called Operette – to literally and figuratively become the old Monara II again. The now classic appearance remained unchanged, but the interior and technology on board were fully adapted to the requirements of the 21st century.
