Eclipsing Expectations: Moonrise unveiled
The newly unveiled Moonrise is an impressive 101.00-metre yacht in build at the Feadship facility in Makkum.
A new Moonrise has emerged from the shed at our Feadship facility in Makkum. At 101 metres, she builds on the legacy of her predecessor – delivered in 2020 – with a refined design and a range of new features.
While the signature exterior lines by Studio De Voogt and the elegant interior by Rémi Tessier remain, several key enhancements set this version apart. One of the most noticeable changes is the absence of satellite domes. Instead, Starlink receivers have been seamlessly integrated into the superstructure, improving connectivity while maintaining a clean, streamlined look.
Other refinements include a taller mast, a larger sun deck with a massage area, gym, and hairdressing salon, as well as extended exterior decks and swim platform. Inside, there’s an exclusive owner’s deck and a private cinema on the bridge deck.
The naval architecture has been optimised to ensure comfort whether underway or at anchor. Special attention was paid to minimising noise levels, with the design of the propellers and appendages reducing both underwater noise and interior sound levels for an exceptional onboard experience. This achievement was made possible by the first known innovative fully resilient-mounted anchor winch foundation, featuring optimized chain routing.
Moonrise is now in the final stages of outfitting and will soon begin sea trials before delivery. She represents another step forward in Feadship’s commitment to innovation and craftsmanship.
