Feadship gallery captivates VVIPS at AMACEing event in Beijing
The art of Feadship was on full display at the recent AMACEing 2018 event in Beijing. As the only yard to have sold several superyachts to clients from the Chinese mainland, Feadship was already a well-known name among many of the VVIPs who attended this second edition of The Asia Maritime Art and Culture Exhibition.
The highly successful tour of Asia by Feadship Helix several years ago had also showcased Feadship quality to this part of the world, and the AMACEing event allowed us to put other Feadships on display in a dedicated gallery. Eleven dramatic photographs were especially framed, the Feadship movie was screened and visitors were given a guide to Feadship’s history in the Chinese language.
The Beijing Riverside Art Museum was bustling with visitors from 3 to 6 May attracted by the various displays of sculptures, historical objects, photography and video material. One section of the show was dedicated to antique world maps and nautical charts, as well as historical paintings and engravings depicting the Golden Age of European seafaring and the cultural interaction between China and the West.
AMACEing 2018 was organised by Martello Yachting, an Asia-based company specialised in superyacht brokerage, charter, management and consultancy. “The Feadship Masterpieces Photo Gallery was one of the highlights of the exhibition,” says Martello’s managing director Rene Ho. “It was placed at a central position of the venue and our VVIP clients were visibly impressed by the fascinating history and Feadship success story. Like art, Feadships transcend borders and are enjoyed by people across the world.”
