Project 714: A New Masterpiece Takes Shape

Project 714 has taken another major step in her journey, having successfully left the construction shed at our Aalsmeer facility. This 79.95-metre gentlemen’s yacht is now well into her final outfitting and sea trials, bringing her closer to completion as another standout addition to our fleet.

With an exterior design by RWD, Project 714 is a true embodiment of sophistication. Her sculpted curves and striking blue hull exude timeless elegance, while her performance matches her refined aesthetics, thanks to naval architecture by Feadship De Voogt Naval Architects. Every detail has been meticulously crafted to uphold our tradition of excellence in both design and engineering.

Beyond her striking appearance, Project 714 incorporates advanced technology developed under the Advanced Electrical Drive (FAED) program. Her diesel-electric hybrid propulsion system builds on the innovations of the groundbreaking Obsidian, with 4.5 times the electrical storage capacity of our first hybrid motor yacht, Savannah.

Her contra-rotating thruster system eliminates the need for traditional drive shafts and rudders, significantly reducing drag and enhancing efficiency. Extensive computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis has also fine-tuned her pods and propellers, ensuring minimal vibration and maximum comfort for those on board.

With Project 714 now progressing toward delivery, she stands as a testament to our relentless pursuit of innovation, craftsmanship, and sustainability. We look forward to seeing her embark on the next chapter of her journey at sea, setting new standards in luxury yachting.
