Cipitouba

2017 (Launched 2002)

This is Cipitouba

The 40-metre Cipitouba, launched as Seaflower in 2002, was returned to peak condition during a refit at the Feadship Makkum yard over the winter of 2016-2017. This extensive project involved fitting Caterpillar 100 ekW C7.1 generators with a SootTech exhaust gas filtration unit by Hug-Nauticlean, for which a hole was cut in the aft bulkhead in the beach club to access the diesel generator room. A new electrical power management system was also installed with new switchboards and alarm & monitoring system, while the main engines were overhauled and reset to zero hours. Cipitouba's interior was given a comprehensive makeover in close consultation with the owners. This included a new main deck salon & dining room and bridge deck lounge plus an upgrade to the master stateroom and guest suites. The hardware throughout the interior was renewed, new marble was placed in the guest bathrooms and an impressive new AV/IT and CCTV system installed.
