Inevitable

2008 (Launched 1990)

This is Inevitable

Inevitable (ex. Mi Gaea) enjoyed a complete rebuild at the Feadship Makkum yard in a project that lasted 18 months and touched every aspect of the yacht. This included an all-new classically styled interior designed by Patrick Knowles with blond teak raised and fielded panelling, and an expansion of the bridge deck lounge which transformed a small saloon into a large room with seating, games facilities and a bar. The sun deck was also extended and Inevitable left the yard with a distinctive new dark blue hull. The 200-plus items on the worklist ranged from overhauling the generators and installing a new main switchboard to sandblasting the underwater body and fitting new tenders and cranes. Earlier modifications such as the addition of a swim platform and relocating the tenders to the sun deck were replaced with new structures in order to achieve full Lloyds and Flag state certification. This exceptional rebuild won the 2008 Showboats Refit Award.
