Tatasu

2017 (Launched 1994)

This is Tatasu

The lovely Tatasu was righty seen as representing the cutting edge of contemporary design when launched in 1994 and remains a stunning classic today. We conducted a range of refit activities for the original owner between 2015 and 2017, starting with the remote installation of a passenger lift and creation of a seating area with outside ceilings on the bridge deck. Tatasu then arrived at Feadship Makkum for activities which included a complete engine room rebuild with new main engines, new generators, a new switchboard, the very latest alarm & monitoring system and the construction of an air-conditioned control room, which the original design had lacked. While these inside technical activities were going on the renowned paint team at Feadship gave a new livery to the topsides of the hull and repainted the bridge deck exterior areas. The main deck outside ceilings were also renewed before Tatasu was relaunched on schedule for the summer season.
