About Gallant Lady

These were the first of two Feadships in a fleet that would eventually extend to eight Gallant Ladys for the same owners: Jim and Jan Moran. Launched in 1984, these identical 26.62-metre sportfisherman were constructed in aluminum and inspired by the Rybovich look: a specific style for sportfisherman that were normally built up to 18.30 metres. Feadship was asked to make two larger versions while retaining the harmony of the lines and the relative heights. Considering the engineering required to develop this high-horsepower yacht in aluminium, Feadship told the Morans that they couldn’t build it affordably unless they ordered two of them. So they ordered two.
