Faith rewarded: Four Neptune trophies for Feadship at World Superyacht Awards

Feadship had a great night at this year’s World Superyacht Awards evening in Florence. We took home the prize in all three categories for which a Feadship was nominated, and also won the most important trophy of all, the Motoryacht of the Year award. The fact that these awards are chosen by a committee of highly experienced and independent superyacht owners makes winning even more of an achievement.

It was the phenomenal 97-metre Feadship Faith which stole the show at the glittering gala in Italy, hosted by Boat International Media. She first won the ‘Displacement Motor Yachts 2,000GT and Above’ category and was then hailed as the Motoryacht of the Year at the end of the ceremony. These awards are a tribute to the vision of Faith’s owner in creating a true modern gentleman’s yacht while pushing the boundaries of innovation in the use of glass. The judges particularly admired the way Faith’s large windows connect guests with the surrounding seascapes and the beach club allows unhindered access to the water.

Another Feadship to triumph at the World Superyacht Awards was the 73-metre Hasna, winner of the ‘Displacement Motor Yachts Between 500GT and 1,999GT’ category. The judges praised the layout of her decks, with their large Jacuzzi, swimming pool and convivial seating, dining and relaxation areas. They also highlighted the quality of the yacht’s construction and finish throughout, from the fairness of the hull and the perfection of the interior build right through to the technical installation.

The fourth Neptune trophy for Feadship was awarded to the lovely 35-metre Letani as winner of the ‘Semi-Displacement or Planing Two Deck Motor Yachts 30m to 34.90m’ category. The judges stated that their decision was based on the way a high quality of build was evident in all areas, from hull construction to outfitting and detail of finish. They were equally impressed with the close involvement of Letani’s owner in the project.
