Anyone who’s ever painted a house knows – it’s backbreaking work. Now multiply the scale by a few thousand and set it smack dab in the middle of the sea – now you’re in superyacht terrain. 

A proper coating on a Feadship accounts for at least five per cent of the total build cost. In fact, the coating is so important for aesthetics and protection that Feadship has an entire in-house team dedicated to getting it just right. Here’s a glimpse of what it took to coat Savannah, at the time the largest metallic painted object in the world.
