This is Excellence II
The second Feadship for American owner Herb Chambers who actively charters his yachts, Excellence II is a masculine looking modern design from Frits de Voogt with an interior by Australian designer Sam Sorgiovanni. It was Sorgiovanni’s first project as an independent having worked several years for Jon Bannenberg. The profile features an aggressively raked hull and matching step in the sheer line as well as square corners on her many-windowed bridge, not unlike The Highlander. Interestingly, #782 replaced Feadship #753, a 38.70-metre named simply, Excellence, launched in 1986.
